The crossing only takes six minutes and is thus the shortest, most environmentally friendly, and at the same time the most time-saving way across the Rhine. For some, it is a daily commute between home and workplace, while for others it is also a little Rhine boat trip that even has a touch of adventure.
Certainly, the crossing by ferry is also the most beautiful way to cross the Rhine: with a view of the river, of the Germania that has been overlooking Rüdesheim since 1883, or of the legendary Binger Mäuseturm located in the Rhine.
