A warm welcome from us to the new Rüdesheim wine majesties Maxi, Mia, Emma, Matilda, Henriette and Mariella to Rüdesheim am Rhein, one of the most picturesque places in the Rheingau and a centerpiece of German wine culture. As Rüdesheim Wine Queen Maxi the 1st, it is a great honor for me to give you a little insight into what makes our home so special.
Rüdesheim is not only known for its romantic alleyways, the Niederwald Monument and the St. Hildegard Monastery, but also for our excellent wines, which thrive here in the sun-drenched vineyards. The combination of steep slopes, the mild climate and our soil is what makes our Riesling in particular, which unfolds its full radiance here in a special way, so special. Our Rüdesheim invites you to enjoy life. Whether in a wine tasting with our winegrowers, a hike through the Rüdesheimer Berg or a visit to the Rüdesheim Wine Festival. I look forward to perhaps welcoming you personally at the next Rüdesheim Wine Festival.
“Welcome to Assmannshausen, a place that has been known for centuries for its outstanding wine tradition. Our history dates back to 1108, and we have been passionately dedicated to winemaking ever since. Our special microclimate and red slate soil provide ideal conditions for growing first-class Pinot Noir grapes. This unique combination is reflected in every glass you enjoy in our inviting restaurants.
A visit to Assmannshausen is more than just an excursion - it is an experience that will enchant your senses and inspire your soul. As you stroll through our picturesque village, you will be amazed by the idyllic Rhine front and the impressive view of the river. Our family-run hotels and restaurants welcome you with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites you to linger. In particular, the culinary events organized by our herb hosts in the vineyards, combined with the unique view of the Rhine, will make your stay unforgettable.
Our tip for you: Start your voyage of discovery with a relaxing boat trip from Assmannshausen to Rüdesheim. Then take the cable car to the Niederwald Monument and enjoy the walk through the picturesque landscape back to Assmannshausen. As a special highlight, we recommend a visit to one of our local winegrowers. There you can enjoy the exquisite wines for which Assmannshausen is famous in the best atmosphere.
We cordially invite you to explore Assmannshausen and its treasures - enjoy the wine, the landscape and the hospitality that make our region so special.”
