After the new construction of the cable car in 2005 and the conversion of the valley station in 2022, which can now be passed barrier-free, the traditional Rüdesheim cable car has been relaunched. The cable car will be in service until the end of the fall season, carrying many hundreds of passengers to the Niederwald monument and back to Rüdesheim above the vines every day. Like the Germania, the
Drosselgasse and the wine, the cable car is a Rüdesheim landmark with a special quality of experience. Climb aboard right away and enjoy your wonderful ride!

The panoramic ride on the chairlift between the Niederwald forest above the Rhine and the red wine village of Assmannshausen offers breathtaking views. During the ride in the open two-seater, the Rhine valley, forest, vineyards and the Höllenberg alternate. Speaking of red wine: Assmanshausen Pinot Noir is considered a top German vineyard - and you can see this for yourself in the picturesque village with its twelve winegrowers, cozy wine taverns and romantic leafy terraces.
