Current construction measures and traffic changes

Construction of the Europakreisel

Hessen Mobil will start construction of the Europakreisel traffic circle in Rüdesheim am Rhein on June 30, 2025. The existing intersection of Bundesstraße 42 / Europastraße / Taunusstraße / Rüdesheimer Straße will be converted into a traffic circle at the entrance to the town by the end of March 2026. 
The work will be carried out in two construction phases, each of which will involve road closures. Buses to P6, campsite guests and swimming pool guests will be diverted via Wiesbadener Straße/An der Weißburg.

“Rüdesheim Eye” – Best views in the harbor park

From September 19 to November 2, 2025, the “Rüdesheim Eye” will once again be visiting Hafenpark – a new-generation Ferris wheel almost 50 meters high.

This visitor magnet will be complemented by a small beer garden with a bar and various food options on the lawn at Kastanienallee.

Beautiful views: just the thing for high-flyers and those who enjoy heights.
The Ferris wheel offers unforgettable views of Rüdesheim and Bingen and the World Heritage Valley from its fully glazed panoramic cabins.

Opening hours:
Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
