Enchanted cave

Rüdesheim am Rhein
The magic cave was built around 1790 and is a walled corridor about 60 m long, whose walls were originally decorated with sparkling glass stones. The unlit corridor leads into a rotunda, the “magic hut”. When entering the magic hut after the maze-like experience of the dim corridor, the visitor was greeted with a view toward the Rhine – as if in a magical world of nature.
