“Rüdesheim Eye” – Best views in the Hafenpark to welcome spring!

Rüdesheim am Rhein is adding a strong attraction! From May 1 to June 9, 2025, the “Rüdesheim Eye” – a nearly 50-meter-tall giant wheel of the new generation – will make its debut in the Hafenpark.

The exciting visitor magnet will be complemented gastronomically by a small beer garden serving drinks and various dishes, which will be located nearby on the grassy area at Kastanienallee.

Beautiful perspectives: Exactly the right thing for thrill-seekers and height enthusiasts. The giant wheel comes from the operating company “Kipp Skyevents” from Bonn. With a height of 48 meters and 36 enclosed and modern-designed gondolas, the wheel can accommodate up to 216 people for a ride.

Unforgettable views of Bingen and Rüdesheim as well as the sights of the surrounding area, including the World Heritage Valley, are promised thanks to its fully glassed panoramic cabins.

The giant wheel is aware of its ecological responsibility, calculates the CO2 emissions of its giant wheels every year, and has been using voluntary CO2 compensation since 2020, supporting high-quality and recognized climate protection projects in accordance with the renowned “GoldStandard.”

Giant Wheel Opening Hours:

Sunday to Thursday 11 AM to 9 PM.
Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 10 PM.
