A Festival for Geologists
Along the Neckar and its tributaries – Kocher, Jagst, Murr, Enz, and Rems – nature has created impressive terroirs over millions of years. Jura, Keuper, Muschelkalk, and volcanic rock alternate and shape the character of the wines. Layer by layer, Jura, Keuper, Muschelkalk, and volcanic rock tell their own unique story. The Rheingau complements the geological spectrum with Taunus quartzite and phyllite.
Never before has there been such a variety of soils in the over 20-year history of the Rubinroten Symphonie, united by a grape variety: the Spätburgunder. A true cornucopia of character, depth, and authenticity – a celebration for the curious, explorers, and enthusiasts.
