Our wine hotel "Zum Grünen Kranz" in the heart of Rüdesheim's old town, situated in a quiet location, is highly appreciated for its relaxed cozy atmosphere and the generational familial hospitality of the Nägler family (since 1826).
As a leisure and experience hotel centered around wine, we offer, in addition to a wine restaurant, our own vinothek & an in-house bike rental, the perfect starting point for your exploration tours in Rüdesheim, the Rheingau, and the entire UNESCO World Heritage site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley". It is your ideal base for hiking, Nordic walking, or cycling. From here, you can directly access the vineyards or the cable car station, which takes you up to the Niederwalddenkmal with its magnificent panoramic views.

The green kranz is a listed half-timbered ensemble with a sustainable philosophy and certified quality. Dishes are prepared seasonally and regionally, mixing grandma's recipes with contemporary ingredients. We serve regional products such as Wisper trout, game specialties, and much more.

Our house is centrally located in the old town, 75m below P2 Drosselgasse.
Arrival by car - guidance system No. 2 yellow
Arrival by train - first street on the left (Oberstrasse) towards the vineyards.
Arrival by boat - KD dock, up to the marketplace, then turn right into Oberstrasse.

Our wine shop offers not only Riesling and Pinot Noir from the family winery but also exquisite products from other top winemakers in the region.
Noble brandies, liqueurs, trendy gins and whiskeys, wine jelly, Riesling mustard, and fine chocolates make it a sweet temptation.
We offer everyone a free "tasting wine sample" and are available for expert advice.
