From Frankfurt via A66, through Wiesbaden, then the federal road B42 along the Rhine, via Eltville towards Rüdesheim am Rhein.
From Koblenz, take B42 on the right bank through St. Goarshausen towards Rüdesheim am Rhein.
Important Note for navigation system users: Please ensure to enter 65385 RÜDESHEIM AM RHEIN
The "Rheingau Line" between Frankfurt am Main HBF and Koblenz HBF (with some connections to Neuwied/Rhein) stops at least hourly in Rüdesheim am Rhein. You can find a timetable and online tickets for buses and trains at www.rheingaulinie or www.rmv.de
The bus stop is located at Brömserburg, 100 m from the train station.

WARNING:
Tickets must be purchased before traveling by bus and train. Ticket machines can be found at all stations on the Rheingaulinie.
Mask-wearing is mandatory on public transport. Only FFP2 or N95 masks are allowed.
Rüdesheim am Rhein is located 40 km from Frankfurt Airport and is thus easily accessible from all international destinations. The drive takes about 55 minutes by car, and public transportation (train and S-Bahn) will get you to Frankfurt Airport in about 1.5 hours. Hahn Airport is located 65 km from Rüdesheim am Rhein and can be reached by car in 1 hour and 15 minutes (please also factor in waiting time for the Rüdesheim-Bingen ferry).
There are both a car and a passenger ferry operating between Rüdesheim and Bingen.

Parking in Rüdesheim and Assmannshausen
When visiting the Tourist Information, you can park for free for 30 minutes with a parking disc in the three parking lots at the Adlerturm. In all other public parking lots, parking is free for 30 minutes with a parking ticket (please press the green button). Please note that the public order office strictly monitors compliance with the parking duration.
Note: The free parking lot P5 will likely be closed on the last weekend in August (Friday and Saturday) due to the large event "Rhine on Skates." Alternatively, you can use the free parking spaces opposite the swimming pool.
The parking spaces marked with * are free of charge from November 1 to March 31.
Park affordably close to the Niederwalddenkmal, Niederwald Temple, and the cable car station. The parking lot is open year-round. Flat rate parking fees per day contact: Tel. +49 (0)6722-2402
Disabled parking spaces
Free disabled parking spaces are available in parking lots P3, P4, P9 as well as at the market square and at Adlerturm/Rheinstraße.
Motorcycle parking
Rheinstraße between the market and Adlerturm. Note: Each motorcycle requires a parking ticket.
Caravans/RVs
Parking is allowed - for a fee - in all car parking spaces, provided they fit within the designated area due to their size and that height restrictions at the entrance are observed.
