For years, the wine hike has been held with the two wineries Johannishof and Robert König. The starting point is the temple next to the Niederwalddenkmal in Rüdesheim. With a sparkling glass of champagne in hand, the day can begin perfectly. Afterwards, our hike begins towards Aßmannshausen, downstream along the Rhine with several wine stops in the vineyard. Johannes Eser and Philipp König will explain the wines and share exciting anecdotes about viticulture. At lunchtime, we will treat our guests to a hearty meal. After the lunch stop in Assmannshäuser Frankenthal, we will board a ship where more wines will be served. The ship docks in Rüdesheim, from where all hikers can take the cable car back to the starting point at the Niederwalddenkmal.
