Ruin of Hindenburg bridge

Rüdesheim am Rhein
It consisted of nine concrete arches and two steel trusses and was blown up by Wehrmacht soldiers in March 1945. Since 2002, the remains of the Hindenburg Bridge, which was not rebuilt after the war, have formed the easternmost point of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
