Our 1.7 ha (17,000 m²) vineyard is located in the Rheingau wine region. The Rheingau extends along the Hessian side of the Rhine with a vineyard area of 3,118 ha from Hochheim/Wicker, where the Main flows into the Rhine, along the right bank of the Rhine up to the state border with Rhineland-Palatinate behind Lorchhausen.
Rüdesheim is surrounded by vineyards that, due to their southern exposure, boast some of the best Rheingau vineyard locations. Picturesquely, they stretch from the Rhine up to the Niederwalddenkmal and the Abbey of St. Hildegard.
Our vineyard is located in the middle of Rüdesheim's old town and has been operated by us now for the 6th generation as a sideline business.
