The Ring Tour is a round trip of a very special kind, combining a leisurely hike with boat, cable car, and chairlift rides. Along with various sights such as the Niederwald Hunting Lodge and the Ruins of Rossel, the tour, which takes about three to four hours, leads you past vineyards and through cool forests. Where you wish to start the exciting circular route is entirely up to you, for example, by taking the cable car from Rüdesheim up to the Niederwald Monument and from there walking to the chairlift that descends to Assmanshausen. In the red wine community of Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, you will find numerous places to stop for a break in between. The return to Rüdesheim is then a relaxed boat ride.
